Oxford, UK

Apply now →

FHI is planning to advertise for a series of Operations roles in the near future. These roles will primarily be entry-level or for people with some (but not extensive) career experience.

We’re looking for people who are very organised, resourceful, good problem-solvers, good communicators, and who have a strong personal alignment with FHI’s aim of reducing existential risk.

The kind of roles we may look for include:

  • Project coordinators, to support our central operations team and the different research teams (e.g. supporting comms activity, research processes, event logistics)
  • Executive Assistants to support our senior researchers (e.g. organizing diaries and travel, reviewing emails, coordinating meetings and events)
  • Administrative Assistants to support our central admin team (e.g. taking care of logistics for visitors and recruitment, office management)
  • Website coordinators (managing our activity across the central website and various FHI comms channels)

In advance of this, we’d like to hear informal expressions of interest from people who would be interested in working in an Ops role at FHI.

If you’d be interested in potentially working for FHI, please shoot us a short email to tell us a bit about your background and answer the questions below (please keep it concise!): - What interests you about a role at FHI? - What kind of operations work/roles would you be interested in? - What skills or experience can you bring?

We’ll then be in touch if/when suitable roles are advertised on our site.

We are always looking for talented Ops professionals for future roles, so if you are keen to work for FHI but don’t feel that you suit one of the roles above, get in touch with the subject line ‘Ops EOI’.
