Industrial animal agriculture is at the root of many of the most pressing global issues of our time, from climate change and global hunger to antibiotic resistance and the exploitation of billions of animals annually.

The Good Food Institute (GFI) is at the forefront of the movement to use food technology and markets to replace the products of industrial animal agriculture with plant-based and cultivated alternatives. We are just getting started in Europe and are looking for a Head of Philanthropy and Development to lead the design and execution of a fundraising strategy to enable us to do our vital work.

Your role will have high responsibility and high impact. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of GFI Europe, you will be in charge of fundraising to allow us to do our vital work. Your performance in this role has the potential to make a significant impact on how quickly Europe and the world move to a more ethical and sustainable food system.

Alongside the Head of Philanthropy and Development, we are also recruiting for a Head of Operations. Together with the Managing Director, you will form the nucleus of our new organisation and help to drive concrete change in the European and global food system. We will start off as a small team, and plan to grow in future.
